An explanation for why the blog has been so quiet of late, and a rough draft for my graphic novel essay.
Final submission draft
It is very similar to the rough photos. I tried to redraw it, but when I laid out the first grid, it looked too artificial. I like that this has the slightly warped handwriting I get when I’m up too late. I like that the hearts are different sizes and don’t balance on the page.
So, I’m happy to finish it here.
The following photos are from the rough draft. The pdf above has better grey scaling.

Don’t know quite what to say/write. I was there 13 years ago. Take care of each other.

I am so sorry to hear this has happened. As a recent father myself I can only imagine what you are going through. I hope you pull through this, Timothy.

Some people in my course have critiqued this and said that page 4 broke a rule, which is that each page is a single subject, and they didn’t get the staff thing, so I’ve reworked it into two pages and gone verbose.

Tim, hi. It’s Peter here from the Comics course (I left the first comment on your comic). I’m working/struggling on my own half-baked comic idea at the moment, and I wanted to ask you a very awkward question.
Is it possible to email you directly? Can’t find a link. Thanks
